The chisel worked perfectly drilled about 20 holes

This drill bit is amazing. Really saved the day, had to drill through fiberglass and there were no chips. The chisel worked perfectly, made about 20 holes. I don't know how long it will last but it still looks great.

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Freud: Best Forstner Rackets for the Money

German and Italian craftsmanship is unparalleled in this price range, others cost significantly more. The result: smooth holes that don't need to be sanded or cleaned. They are intended for fine woodworking, but I also use them in many other types of woodworking projects because they are often faster and always cleaner than paddle and helix bits.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

NOT FREID! for forstner bit

As other negative reviews say this is Diablo, bottom drills made by Freud, not Freud as listed. you are below I received a bit with a serrated edge. I needed it that day so didn't return it but was VERY disappointed to find it had been ripped out and stuck, even worse than my cheap Chinese Forstner bits. This is false advertising! I have a bat of the same size that I bought 4 years ago, it's actually Freud, and if you compare them side by side the difference is obvious. My 4 year old worn drill

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some minor things
