    As advertised. No surprises

Balanced accessories. Good, sharp carbide. All the Freud beats I own are some of the best in the store. I'm still dreaming of a 3 incisor tip with a top bearing over 2 inches and can't find it without going to a shaper.

    Pros
    • Spare parts and accessories for power tools
    Cons
    • So far, so good

Not enough information - 16,000 rpm bits

Freud does not publish speed limits. Also, the diameter is 1-1/4" instead of 1" as stated in these specifications. I had to email Freud to get this information and came back a day later with a plot of velocity versus diameter. Luckily the person also said the actual diameter, otherwise I would have ordered the wrong nozzle. My laminate trimmer rotates at up to 30,000 rpm. This bit is limited to 18,000 rpm per Freud and box, but the email suggested going even slower at 16,000 rpm.

    Pros
    • router bits
    Cons
    • concise instructions

    Freud 3/16 Radius 1/2

What can be said about cutters? Well you can easily tell the quality of the carbide burs which in this case is excellent. The sharpness was evident as an edge was cut through hundreds of linear foot planks with no vibration or vibration. When the work was completed, the racquet was as good as new. I've had issues with previous Chinese beats which resulted in me rushing to buy one from a local big shop and regretting the result with cuts etc. These Freudian beats (and I have many of them now)…

    Pros
    • Power tools and hand tools
    Cons
    • High price
