Freud lifting plate cutter

The product worked as advertised with no problems. I have already made the panels and the woman is happy. I would recommend the beat.

Pros
  • Cuts all composite materials, plywood, hardwood and softwood.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works great

Compared to the original Freud cutter, this bit is faster and smoother. Fewer repetitive passes, time savings. Much smoother cut. Great redesign. I can't help but love these Italians.

Pros
  • use on portable desktop routers.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Freud Quadracut users for life!

I was looking for a panel lifter to make panels for a bed frame I was making. Unfortunately, my router table top is slightly larger than the more common 3 1/2" pads (not enough to feel secure), so I started looking for something smaller when I came across a couple of attachments made by Freud I bought this and a Freud mortising and mortising bit at the same time and I am very pleased.I was amazed at how easily the bits cut through red oak with no (and I mean absolutely zero) nicked or frayed…

Pros
  • Use 1/2" height for 5/8" shank. Use a 5/8" height for a 3/4" shank.
Cons
  • piggy bank price
