Great adaptor. Goes both ways. Has a female and a male on both sides. So smart!

With this fitting, the washing machine can be easily installed on the pipe under the kitchen sink. I've been messing around with Home Depot adapters for days. Then, after many frustrating days, I saw it on Amazon. It was everything I needed all along!

Combination not commercially available as

just does its job and converts exactly as the title says. For my purpose; I just used a 3/8" compression thread to 1/2" regular metal pipe thread so I can connect the shower hose directly to the nearest shut-off valve (toilet or vanity faucet) during a renovation. The transition piece fits me as an insert in the shower hose connection and is too short for that = I have to use 2 rubber seals. Otherwise a good product.

Tolerances are a little high

I used 1/2 of this kit to convert a 1/2" FIP to a 3/8" dual compression ball valve to a 1/2" FIP to a 3/8" -Compression + convert 1/2 -inch valve. MIP adapter for my toilet line and bidet seat line I couldn't use the standard tee that came with the seat as I had to merge both lines into one valve when turning off the water in winter to avoid freezing to prevent. The solution works great, but the 3/8 female compression thread is a bit loose - use a few extra turns of teflon tape and tighten…
