Like most reviewers I found the factory replacement process very easy and the new struts installed easily and held the hood securely. No more hits to the head when working under the hood!

I got tired of using a stick to hold the hood and after who knows how long I hesitated I finally ordered it, took 5 to install -10 minutes and they work great and as someone who tinkers with cars I like that they are easier to remove and install when you need extra space under the hood.

So easy, a 6 year old can do it. Installation of hood gas springs on Saturday 09/01/20. My 6 year old son helped me remove the old hood pillars. The OEMs had already been replaced, so all I had to do was take the old dead shocks off and replace them with new ones. Very easy to install.
