I wish I had noticed these are pan head screws. What a terrible idea. These must be at least Phillips screws. Trying to drive them into the aluminum, the bit slipped off so many times that I scratched my hand in half a dozen places. I wish I had gone to Laws and bought Phillips sheet metal screws.

This folding garden chair has been rewoven over and over again. This is a very comfortable rocking chair. Most chair frame holes are not narrow enough for these screws. Most of the new screws popped out once weight was applied to the new floatation lounger. The threaded part of the screws was too narrow and also too short. I won't buy them again.

I had to return them but not because they were of poor quality. I have reupholstered and reused chairs in the past. I had to return this particular set as the hole in the chair required a different type of hook. In other words, the holes were too small to use. But I really like them in other chairs I've linked. Just check the size of the hole and use the appropriate element for the re-web. Most chairs require these or screws.
