IR Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, and black and white line tracking and so on. The module detects the distance 2 ~ 30cm, detection angle 35 °, the distance can detect potential is adjusted. The output port OUT sensor module can be directly connected to the microcontroller IO port, you can directly drive a 5V relay. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube, tube infrared emit a certain frequency, when detecting direction meet with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving tube, after the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time signal output interface to output digital signal (a low level signal). Can be used for 3-5V DC power supply modules. It has red power indicator.

Impressive Obstacle Avoidance Sensor for Arduino

After I put it to the test, this infrared obstacle avoidance sensor proved to be a reliable and efficient addition to my Arduino projects. The sensor worked flawlessly accurately detecting and avoiding obstacles in its path.It is easy to install and offers great value for money. However, the sensor's range could be improved for better detection of distant objects. Overall, this sensor is a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their Arduino projects with obstacle avoidance capabilities..

Convenient adjustable sensing distance with visual feedback LED

I used this product in an animal toy to synchronize the sound pattern with the breathing mechanism inside the toy. This part of the project was surprisingly easy to do - it only took a few seconds of setup before everything was working properly. The LED makes it easy to see how good the detection threshold is - not too short to get lots of false alarms, and not too long to get poor timing accuracy. The only downside is that it's bigger than it should be, which limits its use a bit.
