Replacement Fuel Filter With Head & Sensor - The fuel filter screens out dirt, rust, particles and most importantly, water from the fuel before entering the system of the vehicle. Will not fit LB7: Replacement Parts

Will not fit LB7 Duramax (2001-2004) without modification but in your defense most brands will not fit, I've been doing this for a long time.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Good filter housing eh

Bought used. The filter is garbage and sometimes not tight. The hull works fine. I just put an AC Delco filter on it and it worked fine.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • Was damaged

Do not buy! Spend more and buy OEM

This thing sucks. The O-ring on the exhaust valve was stuck, one of the mounting holes wasn't threaded properly, and after 48 hours of use it started sucking air, leaving me stranded on the road.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Upgrades

Poor quality filter

When I took the case out of the box the wiring on the heater assembly fell off. Possibly due to poor quality of the connections. When I tried to remove the connectors from the case, it broke in two. I then had to work a few minutes to remove the parts from the case so I could use the old wiring harness. I also find that the pump is not running smoothly. Sometimes it gets stuck in the down position and needs to be manipulated to return to the up position for the next hit.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • No instructions

failed quicker than the fuel filter

This fuel filter head came with a filter. Installed as he has already done 4-5 times. After 3 months the head started to flow. The leak went so far that the truck always smelled strongly of diesel fuel. When I removed the filter head, the electrical connector fell apart. Disintegrated in my hand like a handful of potato chips. The fuselage was leaking from below. The filter was tightly installed, leaked, and was then tightened several times. The sealing ring is installed correctly. Do not buy…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Protection
