Wrong gasket size for my 1993 F150

The gasket supplied is too big for the cutout in the tank seat and thicker than the stock gasket. When I tried to install it the gasket crumpled leaving an open gap in the gasket. This is a potentially dangerous situation as gasoline vapors can collect under the vehicle and ignite when the vehicle is started. Use an old gasket, it must be functional.
