📀 Efficient Storage Solution: Fuji Rewritable Disc Pack Spindle Review

These discs worked fairly well for a while, erasing and writing to them with no problem. However, after about 20 cycles they fail completely. I now understand that rewritable discs have a finite lifespan, but it's ridiculously short compared to other brands. As other people have pointed out, once they are "dead" they lock up your system. I have 2 of them died on me the same day. Terrible product in the long run. It's a shame considering they actually worked well initially.

After many years of writing and rewriting they still work. None of the 15 hard drives have ever failed over the years. Rest assured that important data is stored safely and securely.

Used, didn't like it, later it went with Dvd-RW, these are the ones that can be used by Verbatim. Very happy with their product, not this one. Update: In 2012 I'm not sure anymore if Verbatim started giving me problems. What I recorded on DVD-RW suddenly stopped playing on my Sony recorder, my main device, and I had to use a universal player to watch it.

These discs are not worth your time. Everything I've used from the spindle so far has given me problems. The first was not properly formatted and could not be overwritten, the second formatted, but the quality of the recording after overwriting was almost inaccessible, and so on and so forth. I don't know why they suck, I just know what they do.

Bought these because I've had great success with Fuji's DVD-R and DVD+R media (made in Japan). However, they are not even recognized by my nec 3520a or nec 3520aw drive. This was very surprising as it is Fuji and I made sure to get the ones made in Japan. Well, live and learn.
