I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

An excellent wide-angle that practically replaced my Canon 16-35 L for walking. Very good resolution throughout the frame at the main focal lengths of 10-20 mm already open. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Has pros: Workmanship, small dimensions and weight for such focal lengths, good resolution in the center and along the edges even in the open, a good stub. For me it is very good for landscape and interior shooting, filters are normally set Some cons: At focal lengths closer to 24…

but well made and fits well on my X-T1

I've been contemplating which wide angle lens to buy for a while now. Fujifilm 14mm F2.8 or Fujion 10-24mm F4.o R OIS. I was worried that 10-24mm x 10mm might have too much distortion, but after reading a few reviews I settled on 10-24mm. It's also a slightly more versatile lens. It's not a small lens, but it's well built and fits my X-T1 well. At 10mm I noticed minimal distortion on the sides of the frame, depending on the scene being shot, and only when objects on the side of the frame are…

What you need for Landscape, Interior

For me this is the perfect match for my 50-140. For landscape shots I usually need relatively wide to medium telephoto lenses and rarely use the 18-55 lens range. For indoors, I found this lens to be everything I needed. A constant aperture of f4 is fine as I usually shoot between f8 and f11. I've used the lens handheld a lot and the lens-based stabilization works very well. While most IS would frankly find almost unnecessary with wide-angle lenses, the old "1/lens length" rule for the slowest…

Not Good Enough for Landscape Photography

This is my first review of a product and I'm only writing this to mark the likely end of my love/hate for the Fuji-X APS-C system in general. .I've been using the system since X-E1, also had X-E2, X100s, X-T2. I love fiddling with my gear and Fuji cameras are perfect for those who hate shooting full or semi-automatic. Came X-T2 and X-T3. Anyway, here I am, two days before my trip to Los Angeles, Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks, deciding what gear to take with me on the trip. Do I…

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Despite the nit-picking and Wishlist, the lens is simply excellent. The toad choked for a long time, and I probably would have fought with it for a long time, but... an upcoming trip to Vietnam appeared on the horizon... Well, it was IMPOSSIBLE to go to catch local landscapes with a standard 18-55mm f / 2,8-4. As a result, he overcame the toad, and for good reason. What I expected, I got: the colors are juicy, the coverage of space is crazy, there is simply no marriage in focus (which, by the…

Pros
  • - Focal range; - Sharpness; - Color rendition; - Stabilization! Indeed, it is not in vain that they write here: shooting at night with hands by 1/15 is more than real; - There is practically no distortion (at least noticeable to the naked eye), so the lens is suitable not only for landscapes, but also for architecture and interiors; - Pretty fast and tenacious autofocus (even paired with a relatively simple X-M1), shows itself well in dynamic street photography; - You can wind filters, which, by the way, not every super-wide can boast of.
Cons
  • - Dimensions and weight are already close to mirror counterparts; - The aperture ring rotates too easily - you can accidentally knock down the settings. (But this is true for all XF lenses - apparently, this is how it was intended); - Of course, I would like it to have a hole of 2.8. I used to have a tokina 11-16mm f / 2,8 for crop - I still remember it with love. And here... well, f/4, in general, is also not bad, and the stub helps a lot. In general, having shot both of them, I would say that the width at f / 2.8 without a stub and the width at f / 4 with a stub are approximately equivalent in real life.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Excellent sharpness and control of flare and aberrations. Small body for its optical characteristics and compared to mirror counterparts. Reliable metal construction with moderate weight. Officially, the lens does not have dust and moisture protection. However, the focus is internal, and when zooming, the front group moves inside the body. The filter is screwed onto the body itself, and not onto the front group. This means that the protective filter will seal the zoom mechanism. The rest of the

Pros
  • Image quality; reliable metal case; in-body zoom; constant luminosity; size and weight for their characteristics.
Cons
  • Lack of marks on the aperture control ring; lack of dust and moisture protection;

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I used to use the 18 mm width from the first series of lenses on X. It turned out that 18 mm is neither this nor that - sometimes not wide enough for landscape photography, too wide for street. 10-24 I completed the task on focal points perfectly well. Alas, the inevitable minus of the new thing is the weight, almost a pound, and the fuj has already managed to accustom it to "light" high-quality lenses. This is the most important and, frankly, the only serious minus. It zooms easily, I like the

Pros
  • Excellent build quality, one aperture at all focal lengths, very tenacious stabilizer, ideal for shooting landscapes, zooming does not change the size of the lens.
Cons
  • Weight is the most important and important minus. Of course, this is still not a kilogram, but on fuja, according to their own ideology, you slowly get used to "freedom". The lid also falls off at the slightest touch, the lens hood is plastic (they used to have metal ones on fuja), the box has also become much simpler and cheaper than the first lenses for the system.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I travel a lot in Europe. And in this regard, "width" is indispensable for narrow streets. From the beginning of the purchase of a whale set, I thought about 10-24. The price tag was intimidating. But Fuji, by announcing the specialty, brought my dream closer.) At first, he lamented that the aperture ratio was rather weak for such glass, but after using it he changed his mind. The camera stabilizer is simply unique: it allows you to shoot handheld at a shutter speed of 1/15. This lens is a…

Pros
  • Quite compact. WIDEst angle at the same time EXCELLENT frame geometry. Cutting.
Cons
  • Rather, a wish: I would like it to be somewhat faster.
