Good image quality when focusing. The thing is loud and you can definitely pinch your fingers when focusing. I often had to turn the camera on and off with this lens. Feels like plastic garbage. The aperture ring is beautiful. Rather invest in 45 mm.

Good: the lens is very sharp, small, very nice bokeh, everything around it is excellent. wonderful results really amazing results without being able to compare to anything else all i can say is this is a great starter kit.

I understand why people don't like this lens. The focusing element is external. He pinches. But there is a pleasure to use this lens that is difficult to describe. IQ excellent. The focal length requires a panorama for most things I like to do. But I find this lens really fun and a nice addition to the 45mm on my 50r.
