Perfect fit for my 1991 Evinrude. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the o-ring is too thick to fit in the hole that the shift rod goes through in the case. I managed to get it and the body in, but then I couldn't push the shift rod through. I ended up using an old gasket that still looked good.

Good price, looks good but: 6 bolts are a bit longer than OEM and 8mm nuts instead of 7/16. No big deal and you can use the old screws. The o-ring that fits over the shift rod bushing is too thick. It was difficult to put back in place and the shifter rod didn't go through the o-ring when reassembling. That was the problem and I had to use the old one. The plumbing didn't fit perfectly. I had to poke around to get the tabs to fit the holes.

Waste of money! All in all, do not buy this set! 😡1. The large main pad is too big and the 6 holes don't line up properly. I used it because I had to.2. The spaghetti gasket is not long enough and much thinner than the real OEM gasket. I used it because I had to.3. 3 large O-rings. 1 of 2 missing. Two of them are smaller and thinner than the OEM. I used them because I had to. I used an old one since I keep money it will last longer.4. 6 screws have a smaller thread diameter than OEM. So badly…

The water pump I replaced is on a 1985 30hp Evinrude. Overall it was great. I encountered two issues: the o-ring for the forward and reverse rods was too large and the rod could not be threaded through. I even oiled and heated the gasket and it bolted and I was afraid the linkage would bend and lose its shape (maybe I did something wrong so I'll skip that). I just got the gasket loosened from the old water pump problem. The second small issue was that the radius of the 6 washers was too large…
