Says they are less poisonous; good level of detail for cheap little plastic animals

I was quite impressed. These are simple little pieces of plastic, but they have a higher level of detail than the much more expensive animals - check out the last photo of the animals' underside with grooves, paws, etc! The color level is well done and the variety of sea creatures is great too - lots of weird sea creatures as well as familiar ones. There were no animal names in my set. It would be nice to think it's healthier plastic, but I don't see any certificate or stamp to prove it. I've…

Great purchase of figures and playsets

I bought this set for my 2 year old. He loves animals so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce him to some sea creatures. The pieces are not large and are perfect for little fingers like toddlers. I do not recommend these animals for babies because of the size. None of the animals have a small hole to prevent water from accumulating. That was very important to me because my son likes to play with toys in the water. Exactly as pictured

They are exactly as pictured so if you look at the second photo where they are all together you know exactly what you are getting. They're small enough to fit on a cupcake but big enough that I don't have to worry too much about my little one playing with them while I'm in the same room. As in the photo, some are very elaborately painted, while others are just one or two colors, which suits us very well. Also **"hippocampus" in the description sounds like it contains parts of the brain lol! It actually means seahorse - I think they need to hire a better interpreter.
