These books are the perfect size and perfect for creating a personal journal. I love blank pages.

Nice and thick. They're a little narrow, so they fit the "narrow" A5 sleeves, but don't fill out my classic A5 sleeves.

One of the pictures was very misleading and showed someone using a sketchbook that opens completely flat. Unfortunately I think this image was a very different sketchbook because you definitely have to pry open the back to use it that way.

I like these sketchbooks for the number of pages, but I didn't realize the paper is more like kraft paper, so it's not very comfortable to draw with a pencil. That's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5. It doesn't hold pencil marks as well as a regular piece of sketch paper, so your drawing can get tedious. I also notice a lot of bleeding when I draw them. However, for the price and size, they make good sketchbooks or just ideas that can be quickly put down on paper.
