Fyxation Mesa Platform Bicycle Pedal: Enhance Your Ride with Top-notch Performance! Review

I ordered these hoping I would like them better than my cheap pedals I had on my mountain bike. They are very well done. They look good despite being covered in dirt. They bind very well. I need to put more miles on them to make a long term decision but this is exactly what I was hoping for.

I have just ordered and received my second set as I have just bought a new bike and feel at home on my new bike. The sealed bearings took some serious hits on my old bike for over a year (all four seasons) and I can't wait to see where they take me. They go perfectly with both Holdfast straps and Fyxation's own straps which I'm trying on on a new pair and loving so far.

I ride a lot on rough terrain and I'm tired of my feet slipping off the pedals when riding in the rain and mud. I'm not ready to switch to clipless pedals, but I wanted more grip. The Fyxation Mesa platform pedals are great. They snag on my shoes and my feet only come off the pedals when I want them to or when I hit a really big bump (in which case I often don't want my feet attached to the pedals). would recommend them to anyone looking for good mountain bike pedals.

This is one of my favorite pedals for general riding, mountain biking and touring. They have a big platform and the clothespins hold the shoes well. But the pins are built into the platform and are made of plastic, unlike most other pedals with metal screws sticking out. Plastic ones can wear out quicker than metal ones, but if they hit your shins, they won't bleed like metal ones. After it happened a few times and then it didn't happen with these, they quickly became one of my favorite pedals.
