Constant creaking.

Rubber bushings squeak all the time. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and checked the torque. Otherwise the dampers work great if you can live with the squeaking.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Load Booster for shocks, struts and suspension

Mounted on a 1/2 ton Chevy to increase the load with my trailer's heavy hitch. Improved but not much. Raises the rear an additional 3/4 inch but good cushioning, same as when unloaded.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Empty

Shock absorbers are very strong and easy to fit

Installed on a 1999 1500 GMC long wheelbase pickup, 22 years old with little wear but still good looking. They were very easy to assemble and they lifted the truck even in bad conditions. The springs will be replaced soon, new front shock absorbers are also installed, the cargo kits are excellent.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Fan-freaking-tastic

On my 01 Silverado 1500. I'm a regular user of these dampers and love them. You will need a ratchet strap to compress them to fit the lower shock mount as they are stronger, stiffer and harder to compress compared to OEM shocks. Raised my truck almost 3 1/2 inches above my factory shocks.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Trade-in

Looks good - shock absorbers

Still putting the truck on the road as the fuel line parts are hard to come by but the shock absorbers look decent. One thing I don't like is that I don't know what it's actually called. I will say that the retainers center the coil springs on top and bottom of these shocks. They weren't centered when they arrived and even after being centered they don't stay centered so we'll probably live with that, but it looks weird. If the mounts were cup shaped I think the springs would stay centered over

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
