Like a new car again.

I installed 4 of these on my Chevrolet C1500 and was really impressed. They brought this truck back with a brand new truck and they drive fantastic with no nosedive under hard braking conditions. Buy them and see.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great product fits spares

No more jumping. Good price and great shock. They're a little stiff, but that's what you'd expect from a 4x4 truck. If you want something softer, look elsewhere. But I bought them for 4x4 and they work great.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Good but not great

Solid ride and great price

Made the ride stiffer to the point where I like it at a very reasonable price. My '92 Chevy K2500 jumped bumps and leaned into turns with the old shocks, and these new Gabrial Ultra-Truck shocks restored the firm ride this truck had. It's too early to tell how long they will last, but first impressions are very good.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great value - great product

I thought I had reviewed this but they are still on my review list. They were sent at a great price, much cheaper than the Autozone, RockAuto websites, and although I was concerned the company name was Closeout Inventories, they arrived new and in the original boxes. I think on average I paid about $23 for a shock. National Tire and Battery charged $60 for a shock (don't know what brand) and $30 for a shock installation. I bought four of these (front and rear) from Closeout Inventories for less

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different
