One of the hinges split the wood when drilling into the body. As a result, the door is crooked and the latch was broken on arrival. Nonsense. Update - both hinges on the door have failed. I replaced the latch myself and strengthened the hinges by clamping the wood with Gorilla Glue and then screwing in new screws. hold now It's better than when you arrived. Still complete nonsense.

Overall the quality of this product is excellent. It looks good and in general it seems to be solidly made. The only issue I have is the latch/latch used on the door. Although it (still) stays closed once hung, I would have preferred it to be a hook closure to be more secure. Not sure what type of latch they use, but it's not very secure and a little flimsy (can bend easily). I can never be 100% sure it will fit properly once closed.

It was packaged very well and looks great on the wall. A downside at times is that it doesn't feel very solid when you open the door to access the interior.
