I use it in the laundry to dose detergent and fabric softener. The spout is strong and will not leak or clog. Instead I started with plastic drink dispensers and they started leaking.

Looks exactly like the photo. We used this for lemonade at 2 events in November. The spout will drip so it was dirty. However, before the holiday when we bought it online, we used it anyway and have to put a small plate under the spout to catch any unwanted leaks.

This container is beautiful. Not only does it look good (it has a cute stone tin aesthetic), but it's also very well made. I was concerned that the spout would leak as this is a problem with many drink dispensers, but if you fit the spout correctly there can be no leaks as the hole is completely plugged. I put it in my room so I can drink water at night without going downstairs and it works amazing.

I used this jar for ONE batch of Kombucha. 100% sealed spout leaked from the start. I watched it flow straight out of the spout like it was on, but it was all shut off. When I then removed the cheap spout from this glass to install a more durable oak leaf spout (ordered separately), I had to hand wash the glass in WARM water. We are not satisfied at all. We've made iced tea, partially filling the loose leaves and freezing before using. It was only 2/3 full, if at all. I put it in room temperature/cold brew tea and heard a loud crackle but thought it was cracking ice. I was going to throw it away and there were several tears in the liner and the water washed out into tea completely. There is no point in using the past tense for the first time. The iced tea has never been warm - and certainly shouldn't have cracked…

For the most part I have had no issues with the quality of this component. I wish the spout was attached to a glass container as finding a balance of tightness so there aren't leaks and the glass doesn't break is a little daunting. But the worst thing about this product is the lid. I highly doubt the lids on these products are made of stainless steel as advertised.
