Flared on first try

Bought to replace a rear brake like on an old VW. It flexed well, got into the original ledges, and flared well on the first try. The faucets from the original line have migrated to the new line. Had a single flash twice the first time with great results.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • -

Good quality so only needs to be done once

I replaced the brake lines on my car which had been damaged by road salt and dirt. They work great and are easy to swap out. work with.

Pros
  • .028" wall thickness, 3/16" OD
Cons
  • No instructions

Purchased to replace a rear brake like on a vintage VW. The fittings from the original line have been carried over to the new line. Had a single flash twice the first time with great results.

It is as described.

Roll of steel brake line. Arrived unbent and unbent, what more could you ask for in a steel line? I intend to use it as a frame for an RC roll cage and maybe a few other uses, so I won't be using it for a brake line. As a mechanic, I'd rather use a Ni-Cop brake line on a vehicle, but that would work too.

Pros
  • Professional quality double wall galvanized steel tubing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Strong and durable brake line

For a 3/16 steel brake line, it's definitely built to last. Be careful with the bend as we are using an Imperial Eastman pipe bender and it was still stiff and can still bend this pipe if you are not extra careful. The necessary double flair was easily accomplished. Note. We use a soft copper-nickel line in a limited space, but it must have extra clips to prevent it from bending.

Pros
  • Meets all SAE and ISO specifications
