Very well packaged. Very well made.

I am impressed on how well this item was package. Hard plastic rounds to protect the ends. Wired & wrapped in plastic so it won't unroll. Heavy cardboard cover. I haven't found any flaws in the product. Glove that came with are a plus. I will be using this to secure my chicken coop top, bottom, door and 4 sides.

Pros
  • Great for keeping chickens out of garden.
Cons
  • The 1/2 inch mesh may not be small enough to keep small rodents or insects out of your property, which could prove to be a serious problem

Keeps the chickens in and Snakes out

I live in the desert and I hate snakes! I was looking at something that would keep my chickens safe and keep the predators including snakes out. This hardware cloth was perfect! It is doing exactly what I wanted. It has small enough holes that it keeps the predators and snakes out and keeps the chickens in. It works great!

Pros
  • This is for my chicken run. I think it is going to work great.
Cons
  • The wire mesh may become tangled or kinked during storage or transportation, leading to inconsistencies and potential weak spots once it's installed

Wear the free gloves and a long sleeve shirt

Excellent material for my yard birds in the woods. It deters MOST predators, except those darn little diggers; moles… Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Works well using this to build my second chicken coop. Not much else to say.
Cons
  • The galvanized welded wire mesh roll could rust over time in damp or humid environments, making it less effective for keeping certain animals out

As advertised: my feedback

This hardware cloth is strong and well made. I bought two fifty foot rolls to enclose a chicken run. I’ve been very happy with the purchase. They even enclose a pair of gloves to protect your hand ( though all appendages and body parts need protection when using this stuff; it does fight back!).

Pros
  • Strong, stable and will keep out what we do not want in the pen.
Cons
  • The wire mesh may be too rigid for curved or uneven surfaces, making it difficult to seal off certain areas effectively

Great buy for the money

I would buy again if I was building another chicken coop. Definitely get good gloves, stuff will cut you easily. The mesh may not be appropriate for areas with high winds or harsh weather, as it could become damaged or dislodged easily, leaving your property vulnerable!

Pros
  • As described
Cons
  • The mesh may not be appropriate for areas with high winds or harsh weather, as it could become damaged or dislodged easily, leaving your property vulnerable
