There were some bugs in the software which seem to have been fixed, but the batteries in the tags died after 3.5 months. I've been waiting for the tag replacement for over 2 months. I contacted support for the first time on May 25th. Support was very slow. As of August 12th, I still don't have any spare tags.

The Game Golf Pro had a lot of potential. I upgraded from Game Golf Live, which was pretty good, but the battery just died after a few years. I upgraded to the Pro version, which worked fine initially. However, the tags stopped working and downloading the updates didn't seem to fix the problem. Tried replacing tags. Before purchasing this product, PLEASE read the 2019 Game Golf PRO Reviews (especially) on Golf Bulletin Boards. Clubs often don't work. I delivered a label of 14 defective. - You need the latest software for these tags, but they cannot be updated. Customer support is not helpful. The tags only capture about 60% of your shots on the course, so basically you have to do EVERYTHING on your phone anyway, on every hole. I've been using Game Golf Live for about six months and find the data collected very good. I thought the PRO version would be more convenient and seamless, but the opposite is true. Registering my racquets on the device (medallion) took over an hour, the markers that screw into the end of the racquet are bulky and noticeable. I really wanted to like it but the product and the company made it impossible. The hiring was a bit tricky, but didn't break the deal. It took about an hour to install and pair the tags. I used them for 5 rounds from May 3rd to June 7th and for the most part they got most of the shots. He only missed 2 or 3 in a round that I could live with.
