It is written dog or cat. Seriously, I can't use this on my cat! It's so hard on a cat's throat! She's even a big cat, but I could tell she was squeezing at her (she's no stranger to those soft cones, habitual groomer, and she's allergic to skin so she pulls her hair out). I am so disappointed. It also broke before I put it on her. I hate giving bad reviews but apart from the great colors. It wasn't a happy perch :(

Voodoo Kitteh took to this e-collar very quickly. It took a minute to get it to fit properly so it wouldn't slip off but also made sure it wasn't too tight. Of course, it was important that this prevented him from reaching out and licking his balls, allowing them to heal without his intervention. Coped well. As a bonus I really think he found this to be a great built in pillow to sleep on.

Prevents cat seams from tearing. Doesn't need to be inflated, it's filled with padding that provides enough cushion to keep it stable. Has a tip that adapts to the animal's neck. The lace sometimes gets in the way and needs to be tied. Our cat didn't adapt well to the cone and it was much better. She didn't eat and drink alone with the cone, but ate and drank with that collar. If the cat eats wet food, it may get a little dirty. Our cat liked to use it as a chin guard.

I have a small Maltese that was recently spayed. She came home in a plastic cone, the smallest the vet had, but she kept tripping when trying to walk. The front end hit the ground and she was confused. Thank God I ordered her this cat collar and was able to put it on right away. Bingo! She was able to walk immediately and enjoyed it for the next week while she recovered. When it got hot in the house, I would take it off and watch her closely. Perfect fit for our 3 year old kitten. I let her out on the patio, she was chasing a lizard in spiny Boganville and scratching herself. So she started chewing on the fur around him.
