Cheap propellers for indoor bike storage

Installation instructions were not included but it is easy. I wanted to know the distance when placing one bike over another. I was alone with that. The other disappointing element was the mounting screws. They aren't built for heavy use and when installing in studs I removed the Phillips head screws on two of the screws. Yes, before using my screwdriver, I checked all my bits for tightness, and I also have a full collection of bits. None fits so well. Disappointing. Are the stands working? Of…

Nice and clean installation

I've read reviews of the anchors not holding, I agree. But I should also point out that my drywall sucks too, and I already knew that. I went to Home Depot and bought some oak planks to walk over because the studs didn't match either. Now for the rest of the gear. I was struck by the fact that this is a fake. Coated hardware is good and has clean cuts all around. The bolts are all you need to get through each bolt, just make sure you use them a bit early so you don't rip off the head. For the…

Good idea, but very, very bad execution. I am extremely disappointed.

Good idea but too many problems.1) The central part looks like a smiley face. This is the part where the pedal shaft hangs and should be the strongest. The 2x4 is 1.5" wide and the two screw holes are 1". Find out! They must be vertical. Or much closer together. 2) The slot of the middle section for gripping the pedal shaft should be deeper. The mountain bike's SPD pedals are a bit wobbly. 3) I tried to center the two holes on the stud behind the drywall but didn't use the Phillips head screws.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good product but you need the right hardware

I ordered 3 sets. I work for a sheet metal company and couldn't make them for the same price. The price is great. That being said, the wall anchors appear to be designed for concrete or bluestone walls. When I installed and tested the 1st. The wall anchors pulled out of my drywall about 1/2 inch. I didn't get stuck with two 3/8" holes in drywall. So I went to my stash at home and bought some triple action drywall anchors that can hold up to 65 pounds each. Other than that, it's a bit overkill…
