I had to wrap and use the cat scratching post pole in sisal, the ends are very sharp, strong and well driven in. Did the job and the cat didn't fire anyone

Good clamps. Slightly lighter than the ones I bought at Home Depot. They drive well because of their light bar. I appreciated the ability to purchase a small pack instead of a large store pack.

age when i ordered them i had my doubts but now i believe. I drove them into a tree and they stayed there as advertised. Until none of them fell out of the wall, rusted and crumbled. And they didn't cause fire or cancer (as far as I know). Buy it!

I have replaced sisal on cat scratching posts. I used them to pin the ends. Works great, runs smoothly. They are big and thick but very useful for keeping the sisal in place from aggressive cat scratching. For those doing the same, use them at the beginning and at the end. Please do not use hot glue. Not only does this not last long, but the cat can get glue residue in its paws and mouth while grooming. I would recommend them for this purpose. I haven't used them for anything else.
