Beware before you buy!

According to my experience, this transducer was a complete waste of money. It failed TO accurately display water depth and temperature, leading to dangerous situations while out on the water. The only pro was its 12 pin compatibility .Stay away from this product if you value your safety..

The bracket on the transom is not metal but plastic

Ordered as I lost the sensor due to a broken plastic bracket. Shown that it comes with a metal bracket. Received it today only to find another plastic mount.
