Not suitable for road traffic without additional accessories.

Doesn't include traffic, instead I have to buy a $70 charger specifically designed to receive traffic. I'm very frustrated with this because I got this so I can get traffic info without using my phone for GPS as I keep losing signal during my long journeys. Otherwise I am satisfied with this device. I'm going to update the maps tomorrow so I'm honestly not sure if I'll have to pay for that as well.

Garman NUVI 2639 LMT

As this is an LMT model it would be nice to have a traffic receiver in the kit and not just a power cord. I wanted to add a security camera, but that option wasn't available when I was using the Garmin Express. So if it comes with a trial subscription it would be nice to have that information. I don't know if it's possible to transfer files from this device to the NUVI 2640 LMT and vice versa. otherwise nice product. a little expensive, but GARMIN has quality products

Great product at a great price

This refurbished unit looks like new and works great. The only disappointment is that the package doesn't include a power cord for the traffic receiver, instead it comes with a standard power cord. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with this device. It's everything the new 1 has without the higher cost and I love it. This is my third Garmin and by far the best. Works like new, great price and fast shipping! I would highly recommend this seller and this device.

DO NOT BUY THIS. THIS IS A MONEY LOSS.

I bought this product thinking it was the best and newest GPS device, but I was completely disappointed. I even bought their map of Europe for $99. The main issue is that the product purports to offer ground support and crossing visibility, but unfortunately none of that works. The zoom level also returns to the default level after a few minutes, so you have to constantly fiddle around while driving, which is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous for the driver and can become dangerous…

On the plus side, it works very similarly to previous models, making it easy to upgrade to this new one. The downside is that the software can do that.

This is my second Nuvi GPS. The bottom line is I wouldn't do any serious road trips without them, but there are some issues. Garmin needs to update its user interface, on the plus side it works very similar to previous models making it easier to migrate to this new one. The downside is that software that might have been cutting edge a decade ago isn't as fast these days. Garmin would like to see MapQuest input trip information, making it easy to customize routes, stops, and alternate routes…
