Disappointing GPS Watch

This electronics product fell well below our expectations in terms of GPS accuracy and signal strength. Using this product, our team found that it frequently lost connection and provided inaccurate readings during outdoor activities. The watch did have a decent battery life and nice selection of music streaming options, but the unreliable GPS features made it difficult to recommend for serious athletes or outdoor enthusiasts.

Pros
  • The Garmin Forerunner 645 Music has built-in storage for music, allowing users to listen to their favorite songs without having to bring a separate device.
Cons
  • The Garmin Forerunner 645 Music is quite expensive compared to other GPS running watches available in the market.

Time to go Garmin Sports & Handheld GPS

This watch is exactly what I've been waiting for, I've had it for almost 3 weeks now and it's perfect for my needs. I typically run 20-25 miles a week and I'm tired of carrying my phone with me to listen to music. Within 10 minutes of opening I downloaded my playlist and walked out the door. As this is my third Garmin watch I already have an account with it as well as the Garmin Connect app on my phone which saved me a lot of time. My computer (Mac) recognized the watch as soon as I plugged it…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

It's not a silver bullet, but it's closer than most.

A little about me: I'm a pretty average guy. Not a triathlete and probably not marathon training. I'm just a middle-aged guy struggling with a natural tendency to be lazy. I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and mostly swim and work out with weights, kettlebells, etc. I "run" occasionally, but mostly I only go fast on the track a few days a week. OK, enough about me. Let me share my thoughts on the watch. My wishful thinking: more of an activity tracker than a smartwatch. Good battery life. Fairly…
