So what's up? I connected the power cable to my Garmin and it says the connected power cable is not traffic compatible. Traffic service is disabled. Connect the correct power cable to receive traffic. This allows my Garmin to stay on so I don't know what's wrong with this cable. So sad

I contacted Garmin directly. I told them I have a 2598LMTHD and wanted to know which power cord to use. I was given this number (010-11838-00) it is TA20. Mine came with TA10. This cable didn't work for me. It powers the device but throws an error when receiving traffic information. Assuming it is indeed a Garmin product, either the part number is incorrect or the unit was defective. I was on a trip and didn't have time to return it so I ate the prize.

Purchased for my Nuvi1390 which I bought circa 2009 as the original power cord was not working properly. I examined the cables and found that the original was no longer made and the original has a built in antenna to update traffic. This one didn't say it had a street antenna but read one of the reviews that said it did, even though the description didn't say so.
