Satisfied Customer - Parts and Components

yes they work. I was concerned about the issues I heard about. And actually I had a few issues that sometimes it wouldn't connect to my Garmin Edge 1030. Got the update and so far so good.

The best power meter for serious cyclists/semi-professionals

I love pedals. Very easy to install and set up if you have a 15mm wrench. I have a Garmin 1030 and it works great. I also have a PowerTap hub gauge and the information you get from Garmin pedals is great for correcting power discrepancies between the legs. It also helps adjust the overall fit of the bike to your cleats.

Disconnects

Finding the same issue as some of the reviews here. The pedals have been updated to firmware version 3.80. The battery holder has been confirmed to be the newer version and yet after less than two weeks of use I'm seeing a drop in performance when commuting. Attached is a screenshot of one that got me over 20 drops in less than 30 minutes. I'm sending them back and looking for alternatives. The driving dynamics analysis was good, but not worth the disappointment.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive

Faulty hardware - Right pedal falls through

I'll start by describing the problem. On the way, the right pedal kept separating from the radio. On my trainer, when plugged in, it showed my correct power balance of about 40%. I don't think my right leg is much weaker than my left. So when I first unpacked the box, it was already open and I was struggling to find the right pedal to pair with. I also noticed that the L and R pedals contained batteries, but were there new batteries in the box? I changed the batteries and connected the R pedal…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Terribly disappointing experience

This is the second set of these pedals that I have bought and I will be returning them again. The first version suffered from pairing issues and other connectivity issues. Garmin claims to have released a fix, but the problems persist over a year later. The pedals came with firmware version 3.5. Perhaps a newer version will fix the issues I'm having, but the pedals refuse to connect to my phone (although Garmin Connect recognizes them, they can't connect) so there's not much I can do about it…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

I received them after several months of waiting for a pair. Cycling Dynamics are interesting, especially for those working in the Garmin ecosystem, using the Edge, etc. However, Garmin specifics aside, there aren't many advantages for me compared to other pedals I've used recently. Aside from being an added value for Garmin, I also received what I believe to be an open box that appears to have been previously installed with suspicious packaging and less than expected battery life (readings of…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

The pedals work perfectly after following the recommendations

My wife and I had two pairs of Garmin Vector 2 pedals. I've shifted them between the bikes we keep on our sneakers and the bikes we ride on the street. Moving both sets of pedals and Vector 2 pods between bikes took a while when we just wanted to get on our bikes. I wanted to buy 1 pair of pedals that would be easier to change. I looked at all options. My choice fell on Vector 3 and Assioma pedals. I chose Garmins because I have used many Garmin products and have been quite happy with their…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
