Great GPS for the money but could use some improvement.

I bought this GPS just before a trip across the country to transport my mother in law. As for driving, this GPS was great. The POI database has taken us everywhere. POIs were logically organized and easy to use in a snap. For example, one of our tour participants had special dietary requirements. Affordable option for those who want to create traffic reports

After using an older Nuvi 350 for a few years, the faster response and start-up time of the 265WT will be appreciated. Although it's considered part of the Junior Nuvi line, it has features that far surpass the base model (traffic, image browsing, Bluetooth phone connection). Traffic is a nice feature, especially with the ability to reroute (around DC traffic!) during my daily commute between Baltimore, MD and Alexandria, VA, but I've noticed that it doesn't update as fast as I can get it to…

Pros
  • Sleek, ultra-slim design fits easily in a pocket
Cons
  • Damaged

This is my fourth Garmin Nuvi, I have used several over the past few years. This device offers you a good balance between features and price. Some of the great features are: - 4.3 inch screen size required to see your route clearly - Device size, slim, easy to install and carry. Your pocket routing with Magellan and Tom Tom in addition to Garmin. I prefer Garmin routing, followed by Magellan and Tom Tom. However, each has its own characteristics. Garmin says it "recalculates" if you take a…
