Description of Gates 20065 Molded Coolant Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Excellent Replacement Hose for Your Car

Based on my observations the Gates coolant hose is a perfect fit for my vehicle. It's sturdy, flexible, and able to handle high temperatures .The installation was quick and hassle-free. However, the price may be a bit higher than other brands. Overall, this is a great PRODUCT and highly recommended for anyone looking to replace their coolant hose..

Typical Gates quality 👍🏻 but the inner metal coil is missing.

Good hose, typical Gates quality. Had to be cut to fit my '72 Plymouth 225ci. Only 3 stars because this new hose didn't have an internal metal coil to prevent it from kinking and breaking in a bend. I cleaned and reused the old one. Small Indian head on the ends and worked great no leaks.
