Works perfectly; no questions.

The cut ends of the hoses were not straight but still worked without problems. However, I managed to securely fasten the clamps so no leaks have occurred so far.

  • Amazing

Life Saving Replacement Parts

I bought an old 2000 Civic and noticed that the top hose felt soft so I ordered this. Forgot to replace but carried the part in the car until one day the old tube burst on the 114F on the drive home. A simple replacement and it saved my day from being ruined.

Pros
  • Designed to protect against electrochemical degradation, a major cause of hose failure
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Buy factory hoses.

Send a few bucks more and buy factory hoses. There is very little clearance between the cam covers and the coolant hole on the block. This hose is made of a thicker material so the factory clamps are undersized and you have to work hard to pinch the stock clamps and line them up for a proper clamp. I had to insert them with a straight screwdriver blade.

Pros
  • Specially designed materials to resist vacuum rupture
Cons
  • Poorly designed
