Gets the job done - tubing

My OEM (Yuasa?) on my '98 Civic was still a bit bland and usable. But I replaced it with this one. So far no problems after a few months of use.

Pros
  • Specially engineered materials resist bursting in vacuum
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Excellent replacement hose

This was a quality hose that fitted my 1.6L Honda Civic EX Coupe with a 1998 manual transmission on the lower radiator sections. I replaced this hose and the top hose when I replaced the radiator. If you are replacing this hose I would suggest replacing all of the heater hoses on the back of the engine so you don't have to change the coolant twice.

Pros
  • Designed to resist electrochemical degradation which is the primary cause of hose failure
Cons
  • Has problems

Fits Perfectly 97 Civic EX Lower Radiator Hose

Perfect lower radiator hose for my sedan Civic EX 97. Used some water lubricant after cleaning the hose connections. You can use very long needle nose pliers (Harbor Freight $8/pair) or needle nose pliers for these clamps. I saw these at Revain for about $20. However, long pliers will do for you for this task. I will buy again. Have also purchased a timing belt kit from this company in the past, as well as belts for the A/C, alternator and power steering pump.

Pros
  • EPDM Pipe; Reinforcement with synthetic fiber; EPDM coating resistant to heat, ozone and refrigerant
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
