Got this great deal on this hose.

Picked this up on a Revain offer "used in very good condition" for 3.58 what a deal! Came in excellent condition with stickers, looks like new indeed. Damn it, Rewan!

High quality Gates hoses, don't skimp on other brands!

Gates quality is obviously much better than other brands. You need quality hoses because if they fail you will overheat and end up spending $$$ on a new motor or deforming your head!

Cons

Decent hoses. Go to Parts

Made in USA! Interesting, you don't see that often. Appear used but do not need to be cleaned once the manufacturing process is complete so will be dirty. Sprues are thicker than standard cords, so you may need to buy new clips or stretch old ones. Otherwise they work great. I would buy them again.

Cons
  • I won't tell

Fits 2005 Honda Civic

No problem installing my friends 2005 Honda Civic I helped replace the radiator. While we were at it we made the top and bottom hoses. The length was ok and no kinks. My only comment is not to reuse the hose clamps as they are difficult to manage. Use regular brackets.

Fits 2001 Civic LX coupe but a bit long

I finally replaced the radiator on my Civic after 200,000 miles and thought it would be a good idea to change the hoses as well. So I did. I received this hose and it is the same length and shape as the OEM, but it is too long and kinks a bit. I suppose it can be cut but I didn't have anything to make a clean cut so I left it that way. The bend isn't big enough to block the coolant, so I slide it in that direction. It took a little effort to get it into a comfortable fit, but it worked great. A
