Okay, for my application this Gates 31838D gas cap fits a 2003 Dodge Ram with a Cummins engine. According to a garage popup from Revain it says "this gas cap doesn't fit your car". Double check folks because lately I've stumbled across this here with the Revain garage, so far it's been a godsend, something like this in of the kind.
