Disappointing pressure hose for steering system

This hose doesn't meet the standards of an automotive product. The hose is poorly designed and leaks frequently, causing a loss of pressure in the steering. The only positive aspect is that it is affordable but the low price reflects the low quality. Overall, not recommended for a performance car..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other pressure hoses

Smooth Steering with Quality Hose

This pressure hose is a game changer if you're looking for an upgrade in your automotive steering system .As my tests showed, the Gates pressure hose provides a smooth and consistent flow of fluid, resulting in better steering response. The quality of the material is superb and looks durable. However, the installation process can be a bit challenging, and it took me some time to get it right. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to any performance car enthusiast looking to improve…

Pros
  • Durable and able to withstand high pressure
Cons
  • Prone to leaks if not installed properly

The part is ok for the price

We rebuild the complete gearbox, engine, gearbox, drive shaft, tail etc. on a Chevy C 10 pickup from the 70s. It was the correct part, it fit and worked. However, the fitting that goes into the steering box had to be tightened incredibly to ensure it was tight. It came very close to not being sealed. I think if I had to rebuild I would order the same part from another manufacturer.

Pros
  • Robust design
