01 Ford Windstar - Parts

Bought this Windstar at auction, had a squeak about what it was and got a new belt fitted Problem. I knocked off the star because the one that came loose was all metal as this gate is part plastic. It works for now, but the old one looked OEM and also had 175,000 miles on it. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Full line includes parts for passenger cars, vans, SUVs and light trucks, domestic and imported (European and Asian)
Cons
  • Upgradeable

OEM direct part for Freestar

The tensioner came in the promised time. Only 3 10mm screws were installed and took about 2 hours which cost me time. I also had to remove the wheel on the passenger side. I'm not sure if you need this, but it makes accessing the bottom screw easier. Suitable for my Ford Freestar 4.2L. Now you will find out how long it takes.

Pros
  • Torsion Coil Spring provides reliability and consistent tension.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks.
