This works great on my device

This works great on my device. The old timing belt has small cracks, but more than five years have passed since the last change. So I decided to change it anyway. It's not OEM, but the quality is good. Fits snugly and feels sturdy. Also, do not forget to replace the tensioner and tensioner. These bearings can wear out over the years, and dirt can wear down the steel balls.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great kit, great quality, perfect fit

The kit was an exact replacement for my Hyundai 06. The kit was installed at the dealership with a 60,000 km service with no problems. I'm not sure about the cost comparison of the timing belt itself, but I wouldn't recommend replacing it without the idler pulleys and idler pulleys included in this kit. After the service, the engine ran clean and quiet. Buy this kit sometime after a 45,000km service, along with extra drive belts and replacement filters, and you can spread the cost of this…

Just what I needed

I replaced the timing belt on a 2002 Hyundai Elantra and wanted both the timing belt and camshafts. It was the best price I could find for all parts. I was obviously a bit nervous as I couldn't see the part before receiving it but it was just what I needed. Everything matched exactly with the OEM hardware I was replacing. They got in without any problems, and now the car with the new equipment has traveled 1000 km without any problems. This was the second part I have purchased from Revain for…

timing belt its cheap motor life insurance

i have bought this kit 3 times in my elantra life its basically the exact kit you can get from the dealer or carquest for a fraction of the cost here where they do it Getting a lot of their replacement parts I think as I find out I change my timing belts more frequently since I live in an extremely cold, abusive temperature condition and the recommended intervals just don't shorten. So if you have a timing belt, do yourself a cheap favor And do it, your bank account will thank you for me if you

Exactly what I needed at a great price

This belt is exactly what I needed for my 99 Elantra (Beta engine). The kit includes high quality idler and idler pulleys. As well as the Gates belt. Gates made the original belt, so I can say with certainty that it's either the same as the original product or just as good. I've had the kit on the car for about 500 miles, no problem now. I will recheck the tension every 10,000 miles to make sure the belt is still in good condition and that it is still properly tensioned as it is a static…

Worked flawlessly - belts, hoses and pulleys

This was the first time I had a Timing belt with replaced this kit, and this is on my friend's 2005 Hyundai Elantra. I've always had good luck with Gates products so I didn't hesitate to purchase this kit, especially at a great price. Went like clockwork. Came with a chart and torque specs which came in handy. A Gates kit is also available, including a water pump, but after 60,000 miles we decided to ditch it. I wish Revain wore extra straps on Gates 3, but we had to use Dayco. Dayco is fine…

Gates Timing Belt Kit

You know the belt is Hyundai from Gates? Yes, that's right. And the tensioners included in the kit are made in <,<, Korea where the car was made. Save some money and buy it with spare parts. I've clocked 300,000 miles on my Elantra and this is the FIRST time the tensioners have been changed. Maybe another 100,000 will do. Change the oil every 25,000 km. I've used Amsoil every time it has 12,000 miles on it. I have to let the rings sit, I know. Hi! It's 2016 and I've put 70,000 miles on…
