🔧 Gates PowerGrip Premium Timing Belt Component Kit TCKWP304B with Water Pump Review

I ordered this kit because my mechanic wanted me to get the parts. Ordering through Prime saved me some and the price of this kit was very competitive.

I used to work for Subaru in sales and I still know some of the technicians. We took my Subaru Forester from FIL and wanted to do a timing belt and water pump. My Subaru technician installed the parts for me and there were no quality issues.

Installed this kit on my 2006 Forester with 103,000 miles and no problems after 30,000 miles. The details are very high quality. If you are planning on replacing your timing belt, get this kit as it includes the water pump and gaskets needed to get the job done right the first time.

4000 miles seems ok. The pump supplied had two outlets while my factory pump had one, but the motor was replaced a few years ago and may not have used the same pump. Decided to reuse the factory pump. I believe there is an A or B in the part number indicating which pump is included.
