Works perfectly. for lighters

Used in Joshua Tree NP, worked great for stoves. Do yourself a favor don't buy the cheap ones if you read the reviews this is what you need.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Nothing

Throws big sparks!

Ideal for lighting my propane tank heater. It almost always ignites on the first try, which was definitely not the case with a cigarette or grill lighter. Also, you don't have to get your hand/face as close as the sparks will fly a good foot or so.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Frequency

Love it! in Lighters & Matches

Always looking for something like this, I've had a similar one for about 20 years to light my camping stoves, still works great just a little rusty I think I must replace him soon . Finally found it. It's well done in the US. The only thing I wished for was a compartment for extra flints like my friend did. TO UPDATE. This also works with spirit stoves like the Trangia.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lots of things

Lots of Sparks: Lighters

This little lighter has been around for years. We've had one in the shop for at least 20 years to light a gas stove in a machine shop. When I retired he was still going strong. (probably still) It throws out lots of sparks every time it fires. For a welding torch, I prefer the traditional mug lighter, but I took it to light a portable propane fire. None of the propane lighters work at high altitude when it's cold. It works! I'm happy with that.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • It's OK
