Great replacement for downlight

I used these to cover four downlights in my living room. They were easy to install, but it's helpful to read the instructions on how to make screw sockets with a ratchet (no, they don't break!). I included soft LEDs to illuminate the photos and other artwork in the living room.

Look professionally installed!

Bought a pair to convert ceiling lights into picture lights. Easy to install, they do the trick and I rarely notice they're there. They look like they were professionally installed. I just bought two smaller R20 lights. I'm glad I found them on Revain as I got a much better price even though I had to wait almost a month to get a better price on the R20.

A really great solution to light up a front door Christmas wreath. We have lights hanging from the ceiling of our porch, and we just took the bulb out of the fixture just outside the front door, screwed the light into the lamp socket, and voila! - a point that looked built into the ceiling. I wouldn't hesitate to leave it all year round it's so well built. We took it down after the holidays and wrapped it up with a wreath for next year.

Works as advertised

This is a pretty clever way of turning a regular downlight into an adjustable spot that extends down from the ceiling at the end of a pole. It is nice and clean, painted a pleasant white color. Installation is as easy as screwing in a lightbulb. I would give it a much higher rating apart from the manufacturer's warning to only use an "R" reflector, no higher than 75 watts. This certainly limits the output and "pop" of this light and limits the many other lamp options available. For example…

GREAT PRODUCT - Trimmer

This works great and should work with almost any recessed lens and decorative ring except eyeball types. Know that your old trim will stay in place while it fully covers the old trim. So installation is as easy as changing a lightbulb. Unscrew the old lightbulb, screw in this mount, screw the lightbulb into this mount and point the head at the object you want to light and you're done. If you have an eyeball finish, this product probably won't work for you unless you first purchase an open…
