Terrible. The lamp did not stay together and detached from the base in less than an hour of use. Cannot be removed from reflector. fire hazard. Can burn down your house. Not impressed. Used less than 1 hour on the day of arrival. Worst product I've bought from Revain in years.

VERY DANGEROUS! The lightbulb broke off the air handling unit and fell to the bathroom floor, shattering into lots of splinters. NOW I HAVE TO CALL THE ELECTRICIAN TO REMOVE THE REST OF THE BULB FROM THE BASE! Very cheap design, I will refund the amount. 2 that I ordered tomorrow.

I bought 300 volt bulbs for them. So I know it's not a problem. Both blew out after 1 month of use. When I say "burned" I mean the words were literally so hot that the part of the screw that screwed into the lamp broke loose from the glass bulb. Flasks found on the floor of the chicken coop. Bought 6 bulbs. So they came - they opened a big box. There was a pile of bubble wrap. Started peeling off the bubble wrap and found a lightbulb freshly wrapped in bubble wrap. Our three girls (chickens) love to sit under this lamp. It's attached to the ceiling of their barn/stall about 2 feet above them. I have NEVER liked 250 watt bulbs as they cause fires too easily. I have ordered 2. One for the pump shed heat lamp and one for the kennel/outdoor sleeping area for our dog. One bulb arrived in the box completely broken, the other with a broken filament. I blame Revain and not the seller as these lamps were packaged with other items with no padding. I will update the review when the replacement bulbs arrive and I can verify they work. bought to combine with another GE 250W heat lamp for a ceiling light in a small bathroom. Interestingly, this was a different design from the original GE bulb, as the latter was all red glass and the latest version had a silver coating around the bottom half of the bulb.
