Ratcheting pullers have a time-saving, indexing jaw design. Legs index into position and stay in place, letting you easily support the puller and quickly connect each jaw one at a time to the pulley without help. Pullers can also be converted to two- and three-leg pullers. Jaws can be reversed from external to internal style in seconds. Maximum spread of 3-1/4 inches on 2 ton puller. Maximum spread of 5 inches on 5 ton puller. Includes blow mold case for storage and organization.

Excellent Product: Puller

Probably the best cam puller I have ever used. It paid for itself the first time it was used. Fumbling to align the nails and hold them in place on a typical nail puller is such a pain. That makes it easy. The spring pressure on each hook, provided by the base plate on the center section, makes it easy to square the claws and keep them in position and centered as you turn the center bolt. A clever twist on an old instrument - definitely a keeper!

Basically a regular standard puller with cams on the ends of the levers and plates that attach to the top of the puller body to provide friction. They appear to be well made and the improved function is amazing. You no longer need 3 or 4 hands to install the puller. You put your hands where you want them and they just stay there. I would recommend this tool for its build quality and .

Very strong, high quality tool. However, I have found that single pivot levers and large "knuckles" on the ends of the pull points reduce the number of applications I can use this tool in. I also had to repurpose the conical spacer from another kit to allow enough travel for the center screw in some harmonic balancer applications. I bought the "regular" three 3 arm pullers with a lock for odd jobs where this tool wouldn't work. With these limitations in mind, I would still recommend this tool…
