I have a similar ratchet but without the flex head. So far everything has been great that made me buy this 1/2 flex head ratchet. If it's as good as what I have, it should last a long time. However, I wish it was the 120XP version and not the 84t just to be as quick to respond when needed. I'll be using it quite a bit, so I'll update the review if anything happens to it.

I like this key. So easy to break the torque on the rear cams for wheel alignment, the flexible grip allows me to break the torque on the brake mount bolts. Saves me time, energy and frustration. Be careful when using this to tighten large bolts, they will stretch like butter if you overtighten things. The only caveat I have is that the swing arm comes off easily. Just watch out for the release lever.

I am a trained mechanic. It depends on the quality of the tool. This articulated head ratchet is worth its price, which is well below the same tool from well-known manufacturers. It will do its job just fine until you trade it in for a snap-on ratchet. Once you tighten the flex head bolt to your liking, it becomes a very strong and durable tool. If you have or have used good ratchets like SnapOn or MAC, you probably won't like them unless you buy them to lend to others to use your good ones not spoil. I have other key tools and I think they are pretty good. I was surprised when I opened the box and found what at first glance appeared to be an obviously low quality instrument. This is a very long wrench so should be good for very heavy use. I don't think he would have survived in such conditions. I keep it in my car just for emergencies

I am a diesel lubrication technician and I use it every day. I am very happy with the size, smooth operation and feel of the instrument in hands. I wouldn't say it's "ergonomic" by today's standards BUT it's slim and smooth enough that I don't feel like I'm hitting my body with it. Nice and simple design at a great price. The on/off selector seems very snappy and will have no problem moving on its own and causing problems. The 84-tooth ratchet feels nice and crisp, but not chunky. The ratchet head appears to be thinner than my 1/2" snap-drive ratchet, but I haven't checked. First of all I would like to say that the ratchet is an excellent product for its price. Having said that, I would also like to say that I use a ratchet literally every day. I work on heavy vehicles so it's good to have a ratchet with good leverage. The locking mechanism also comes in handy when needed.
