🔧 Efficient Power Steering Pump Puller Set: GEARWRENCH 41560D Review

Yes works well but needs a shorter bolt to reattach the pulley to the GM power steering pump. You need to install a pulley on the power steering pump. Once it is mounted to the motor you will need a shorter shaft/bolt to install it. This was for a 2002 Monte Carlo. There is no place to remove the power steering pump without removing the pulley, which I've tried from the top and bottom, you need to remove the pulley first.

Overall it seems like a good tool but I have a few things I would change myself. This requires instructions. KD, are you listening? Can't cost more than, say, 50 cents or so for us non-mechanics by trade. I use this on 83 Delta, the puller worked fine. The two middle threaded push/pull ends loosen and underneath there is a ball bearing that falls out and rolls away and then you can't use it without the other ball bearing. I got another cheap version of this set from a Chinese tool store and it's not nearly as good. For the price the quality of this set is good and if not abused I think it will last a long time. I made sure to lubricate the threads and all moving parts of the tool before I started, which is important for any tool like this. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are ball bearings in some parts of this tool. So when you take them apart, do so over a rag so the bullet doesn't fly out. They help…
