Good product best for hand tools

Good product but wish the handle was longer. 12 inches isn't enough, 18 or 24 inches will give you leverage to move the bolt.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

High quality tool. Great Price

For anyone frustrated with a fan clutch, this is a tool! It fits snugly into the 36mm nut and is wide enough not to cut into metal. Tapered handle for holding the cheat bar. Great quality and fit.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Socket Required

Great for a one time (hopefully) job

I bought this to replace a fan clutch on my 2005 Expedition. I used it to remove the knot and then tighten it again. In my opinion it was worth the extra money to buy a European made wrench instead of an Asian made wrench.

Pros
  • This is fantastic
Cons
  • Pretty ok

Great tool for open end wrenches

For removing the cooling fan clutch nut from the pulley. Put a 3-foot arc on the wrench and use a firm pull to break the nut (36-inch box wrench on the pulley to keep it from spinning). I struggled with this for days until I got this wrench. Sturdy yet thin enough to make it through. in the application slot First class!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Super power button! in Keys

Purchased to remove the viscous fan clutch from a 1998 Mercedes E320 (M112 V6). I used it in conjunction with the Gearwrench universal pulley holder. The wrench has flared edges on the sides of the hole, making it too wide to slip between the pulley and fan clutch bolt heads. I had to sand these areas to ensure a proper fit. There's still plenty of meat on this sturdy wrench to get the job done. The tensioner was not needed either, the nut was easy to loosen. One star off for the brief initial…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No Instructions

Well made 36mm wrench;

I used this wrench on my 2001 Mercedes ML 320 to loosen the fan clutch from the water pump pulley using a belt wrench on the pulley. I've avoided other purpose made tools (like a rod with a hole in it to hold the pulley to the bolts and a 36mm stamped wrench to turn the fan clutch) because I've read that some people think so that these tools break instead of getting the job done. Work. I wasn't afraid that this key would break - it's stronger than my hand. However, this wrench is too thick to…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Mighty mouse. - Hand Tool

Let me start by saying this is my 3rd water pump replacement on the same 04 Trailblazer car (learn your lesson, don't skimp on the OEM water pump). First time renting tools from an auto parts store and although they worked it was a problem finding a store that had a decent set. Most of them are used and abused to the point where they barely work anymore. The second time it was a combination of buying and renting a tool. This time I had a water pump holder and wrench but I think they were cheap…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
