DockerPi PowerBoard is used to power the Raspberry Pi (or similar SBC) with a typical power of up to 20W (5V/4A) and can run up to 25W (5V/5A) with good heat dissipation. DockerPi PowerBoard also provides power to other DockerPi modules to protect the security of the power supply. It also provides a safe shutdown function, supports IR remote control switch, button control switch (Requires Driver,One-Step Automated Install). DockerPi PowerBoard has fan cooling, and we recommend that you install the DockerPi PowerBoard on the bottom of the other DockerPi. DockerPi PowerBoard recommends 12V 2A or above power input and 12V power from 4-pin headers to other DockerPi. (If other modules require 12V power)

Poorly documented, doesn't always work.

I have this board on my Pi3B+. The board is poorly documented which GPIO pins are needed for monitoring when the board is in shutdown mode. Shutdown mode can only be initiated with a button on the circuit board or the remote control. You can't shut down from the command line or the GUI and expect the Pi to shut down. My particular board requires two button presses to turn on, this is also undocumented. It doesn't matter whether I use the remote control or the button on the board. Sometimes it…

Works well with Docker 4 boards

I am using Docker 4 I2C relay boards and this power board does a great job of powering the Pi and 3 Docker 4 relay boards in unexpected situations when the Pi is in the control box is hidden.

lack of quality. for computer parts

I have bought four of these since December 8th. I installed them on Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4s. One was delivered to DOA, one died 2/4/2020 and the other died 2/21/2020. Two of the dead were on daily duty. The one remaining block is used by an elementary school student and is not used on a daily basis. Let's see how long this lasts. I would say if you are looking for a reliable power supply and fan, you should go for RPI power supplies and a case with a fan. These are just not reliable.

A very useful accessory at a premium price.

Used to power/control the 3D printer server and enclosure. It controls my lights (12v), fans (12v) and relays (5v) with 12v 3a input. Also cools my rpi 3b+. Although it is a premium price, it has a voltage difference and offers enough power for small one-off applications. Please note that it still supplies 12V when plugged in and unplugged, only the gpio pins are behind the power button.
