Slices mushrooms almost like butter. A problem will not remain closed. Hence the 4 star rating. I have an elastic band that keeps the item closed.

This is perfect for my strawberries. Makes fast, perfect cuts. It has held up very well, unlike other slicers that broke on mine.

Slicer worked well for just over a year then broke at the hinge. Gefu products come with a 5-year warranty against defects triggered by returns to an online retailer, but I can't understand the details of the process. Offers?

I ordered this to help with slicing strawberries after a previous purchase of a strawberry slicer was disappointing. This slicer works very well! It cuts strawberries to the perfect size very quickly and effortlessly. I look forward to trying this with other products.

Waste of money. The instructions say not to use hard vegetables. It should also be added that soft vegetables such as tomatoes should not be used. As others have pointed out, it's smaller than it looks. He turned my tomatoes into mush. Back to using a knife.

This is amazing equipment. Very sharp and incredibly easy to clean. Simply rinse under hot water from several sides and let dry. I've used it on olives, strawberries, grapes and cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. It saves me a lot of cooking time and the slices are all the same size which is great for cooking.
